Amelia Earhart (Little People, Big Dreams)
By: Ma Isabel Sanchez Vegara
Illustrated by: Mariadiamantes
Non-Fiction
This is one
book of many in a series called Little
People, Big Dreams. The series discovers the lives of many famous people in
history. This certain book follows Amelia Earhart through her journey of taking
flight. It speaks to her hard work, and overcoming other people’s doubts about
her. She is the first female to ever fly alone across the Atlantic Ocean.
I love the illustrations in this book. I love the cartoon
aspect, put into real life stories. This is a very informational book, but it’s
able to keep children interested with the many different drawings inside. I think
this book would be great for children of all ages, K-5th grade.
